A Coffee Connoisseur’s Guide to Venice Beach

If you’ve noticed the stages of the DEUCE Coffee build out, you know that we are obsessed with good coffee. For me, the only thing that comes close to enjoying great coffee is sharing quality coffee spots with others. 

Here are the five best places to get a specialty coffee in Venice Beach:

  1. Hooked. This if-you-know-you-know coffee program inside of Dudley Market is led by world-renown barista and 3-Time World Latte Art Champion, Nicely Alameda. Leave your laptop at home because this is for a technology-less experience. 
  2. Flo on Hampton. Gabe Venegas comes from under the wing of Nicely and have made an incredible impact with his shop Flo that stands on its own as a destination coffee experience. It’s nested inside of a ceramics gallery on Hampton with supreme vibes. 
  3. Menotti’s Coffee Stop. This neighborhood spot rests right under the famous Venice sign on Windward Ave. Take a peak at the secret menu behind the black and white photo of Cesar Menotti on the wall if you’re feeling frisky. 
  4. Companion. While it’s home to an incredible wine program and restaurant at night, you can find local friends gathering for meetings of work and pleasure right on Lincoln Blvd. The decor is magazine photo shoot ready. 
  5. noun coffee + wine. Technically on the border of Marina del Rey, you’ll want to visit this shop and splurge on the premium pour over option. You won’t be sorry!
