This ‘HOLD THE STANDARD’ Challenge is built to raise the collective bar – for staff, students, and the entire DEUCE community.
What It Is:
For 8 weeks, we’re tracking the habits that build excellence, both inside and outside the gym:
- Movement (training or 10k steps)
- 7+ hours of sleep
- Hitting your calorie & protein targets
- Making your bed
- Drinking 2L of water
- Reading 10 pages
You’ll get custom calories & macros, fortnightly live calls, and a space inside Circle to check in, connect, and lead.
The winner? The most adherent participant = someone who truly holds the standard.
Prize: 2 months of free training at DEUCE.
The Weekly Themes:
Each week adds a layer of awareness, discipline, and leadership:
- “How are you?” – you must respond with something other than “good”
- Be 5-10 mins early everywhere
- Do a small act of kindness for someone
- Hot/cold exposure (to show we can do hard things)
- Do something that brings you joy **that’s not “productive”
- No complaining
- Pattern interrupt
- Bring a friend to DEUCE (on us!)
Why It Matters:
This is a culture challenge.
It’s about creating an environment where people show up fully – on time, with intention, in integrity.
When we raise the bar individually, we raise the gym collectively.
By the end, the energy will be different. The community sharper. The standard higher.
This isn’t a shred challenge. It’s a leadership challenge. We’re holding the standard together.
