
“Pete’s?” It was always an obvious yes. After morning class in Palisades Park, we’d head to Pete’s Coffee on Montana. Most coaches and students alike met here after class like clockwork.
While I think we led a great training experience, but this was even more important.
Nothing replaced the importance of those moments at the coffee shop.
I’m not telling you who to be friends with or what to do after your workouts, but at some point I think we’ll look back and be glad that we gathered with our people to connect. There will always be reasons not to, so if nothing other than to do this in spite.. Do it.
Meet up for coffee, drinks, lunches, brunches, and do it often. Make traditions. We all want them, so lead the way.
