No, not “fake it ‘till you make it.” It’s not entitlement, either. It’s a posture of positivity that guides your movement through the world to expect goodness and your desires to come true.
Expect the universe to have your back.
This is my new favorite saying, because like when know from the Chinese parable about the man who lost his horse, when “bad” things happen to us it’s likely “too soon to tell” if it’s good or bad.
From an outcome perspective, I think the parable is a job well done. We don’t need to revisit that. But, from an expectation perspective when you wake up in the morning and when you look at the rest of your life there is innumerable power, in my opinion, in assuming that only good things happen to you.
