Re-Meet Your Friends, Family, and Loved Ones

Think about who you were six years ago. Scary, right? I hope so, at least, because that means you’re changing and evolving. If that’s true for you, it’s likely true for everyone you know in your life. 

Meet your people again and again. 

I’m dead serious about making this an exercise, too. Go to dinner or grab a coffee with a longtime friend or your spouse even and re-meet them. 

What do I mean by this? 

It’s a heart posture of curiosity and wonder. If you assume that we’re always changing, you’ll have plenty to learn if you approach seeing an old face with new curiosity. It doesn’t help to hope or assume that folks are going to be the same person you used to know, so let’s play the game of intention here and keep re-meeting each other.
