Are you ready for the biggest oversimplification of nutrition for body change in history? All you need to do is one thing. 

Step on a scale and note your bodyweight. Take the number of pounds you weigh and eat that amount of grams of protein every single day. 

That’s it. That’s the blog. 

This could be the most powerful single behavior in nutrition for several reasons. Muscle (lean tissue) is the single greatest contributor to metabolic health and longevity. Having muscle makes it harder to gain excess fat because it burns calories simply by existing better than cardio does. In addition, eating sufficient protein makes overeating carbs and fat very difficult.
