Order the Popcorn, Fit the Script

Last night I was fortunate enough to attend the premiere of Season 3 of the Mandalorian. It was a beautiful night celebrating my friend’s performance in the show. As you’d expect, we each sat in the historical El Capitan theater with a giant container of popcorn to enjoy the show. 

I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had popcorn in a movie theater, but it felt perfect. After all, it’s the appropriate thing to do. This, of course, got me thinking about what to share with you all in this blog article. There are many contexts in life where the best advice is to “fit the script.” 

When in Rome do as the Romans do. 

Generally, it’s good advice to do the obvious. Whether you’re walking into a meeting to give a pitch or you’re attempting a 1RM deadlift, mimic the best at their craft. World-class business people prepare their pitch and deliver it genuinely, the best deadlifters have perfect compliance to their setup, and anyone who’s worth a damn eats popcorn in the movie theater.

Then, every 5 minutes for 5 rounds, complete the following for time:

400m Run

 

Finisher: 3x 20 OH Weighted Sit Ups
