
I was recently speaking to my friend about how I felt like my life was out of control.
I told her I have 100 things to do going 100 mph pretty much all the time.
I want to do ALL the things…BIG Things while still being able to maintain my daily responsibilities.
Her advice was this.
Keep a running list of what you have control over daily.
I can control putting on my shoes… but, I cannot control the weather.
I definitely cannot control other people and their actions.
I do have control over who I spend time with, my communication, and choosing work I deeply care about.
These BIG things come up to give me a chance to practice AGENCY over my life.
Meaning…this is me hopping off the train going 100mph and taking action on things that are the most important to me.
