Our worldviews shape minute to minute thoughts in a mostly subconscious way. And, since that’s true, think about the possibilities for a person with a worldview that viewed physical literacy, gyms, and people having a movement practice as normal.
There are entire generations (our included) that have a subtext around physicality that it is extreme or a penance for the hedonistic parts of life or that it’s a luxury.
How do you think a child exposed to a healthy relationship to training will see the world differently?
Our worldviews as adults are changing (if we take action to change them) at whatever slow pace we can, but when it comes to creating new humans, I think of the immeasurable power of a perspective that would make body positivity and health so much easier than past generations have had it.
