Friction and Your Gym Experience

If you know anything about DEUCE Gym, you’ll know we have a ton of course offerings. DEUCE is like a university of movement. When prospective students ask what program is right for them my response might surprise you. 

I ask, “when’s your favorite time to train?”

Life is hard. Doing life and training is even harder. Choosing the optimal program at a suboptimal time is much less effective than choosing the optimal time to train a suboptimal program. 

Especially if you’re early in your training age, the first most important efforts should be removing friction to your training life. 

Keep it simple, remove the friction!

Complete 5 rounds of the following:
40 Yard Rope Pull
12 Zottman Curls
:30 L-Sit Hang Hold

In 15 Minutes,
1 Block Run,
Then AMRAP
6 Manmakers(40/25)
10 Alternating Jumping Lunges
1 Bull Run

Resting no more than :90, complete 12 efforts at:
2 Clean and Jerks

4-4-4-4-4-4
Front Squat

Then, complete the following for time:
30 DB Man Makers (45/25)
