There are Two Options (and One is Being a Genius)

Sorry for the spoiler alert in the title. This will be a short article, then. As I see it, you’ve got two options if you want to be successful on this planet. The first is you’ve got to be a genius. “Being a genius” most specifically means that you’re so talented that nothing else matters.

If you’re not talented beyond measure, there’s one other option.

And, drum roll, please..

The second option is that you need to do your homework. It’s unavoidable and (surprisingly) so few people are willing to do it that you can really stand out if you do!

I am not a genius. That’s for sure. I remember realizing the importance of this in high school when I somehow was ranked fourth in my class. Why? The only reason is that I went home and did my homework.. All of it.. Everytime.. To the best of my ability. Other smarter kids would get bored or just get busy and I guess they would go to bed (?) and then drive to school the next day without having done their homework. Wild!

If I could add anything before I go as a bonus, it’s this: do the things that you do with an intensity that is slightly greater than zero. Focusing and doing your homework is basically cheating.

Try it.
