Getting Past “No Rep”

You and I.. we’ve got something good going. I mean, right? I lead you to the water of human performance and lifestyle. You drink. We both win. Right?

Well, sometimes…

This stuff is hard. I know it is, because I train like you, too. It’s so hard that part of the reason you have me around is to coach you through it. I coach the skills, you learn the skills, and you get the fitness. Bingo! Sure, it isn’t cheap but we’ve gotten this far so you might as well take advantage of what you paid for.

Eagle eyes.

Eagle eyes.

So, let me cut to the chase. Can we get past the “no rep” thing?

You’re paying for a coach and what you’re getting is a referee. If that money were coming out of my pocket, I’d be pissed. Referees don’t cost much. Grab your neighbor for that.

As much as I want to get you to the next level and talk to you about creating and maintaining tension and sustainable movement, you’ve got me stuck at “another inch in the bottom,” “lock ’em out,” and “finish the rep.” And, it’s a damn shame.

So, what do you say? Can we move on?
