The Mark of Death: Purpose

The concept of death burns holes in me. I don’t think I’m enlightened enough yet to breathe easy at the idea of my death or the death of others. It freaks me out and I don’t understand it.

I hate to write this and to be the bearer of bad news, but we all will have our day. I recently read “Death doesn’t make life pointless, but rather purposeful.” Without it we’d have to need to act. Urgency wouldn’t exist. Purpose would fade away.

Since death is certain, we must act. Go now. Urgently move through life. Do. Create. Live. Destroy your passive tendencies.
