We’ve had lots of growth in our community in the past few weeks and with it has come a rush of positive energy. Do you remember your first few days training here? The nervousness? The soreness? The anxiety of the unknown?
These are all emotions that the newest members of “The Nation” are experiencing. Heck, some of you veterans may still feel similar things to this very day. There’s one emotion, however, deeply rooted in this positive buzz around here that I want to highlight. What about the feeling you get when you know you’ve done something good for yourself? That is an incredible feeling that could light up a Christmas tree.
In my opinion, we are riding an emotional high of empowerment, and it’s a beautiful sight to see. There’s nothing like doing something for yourself. Maybe it’s something you thought you may or may not be able to accomplish. Not only is it powerful to know you overcame some adverse circumstances, it makes all the difference to know your better for having done it.
No matter how difficult this gets. No matter how bad your mood or busy your day, find a way to show up. The feeling of sticking up for yourself and doing the work for YOU is worth it every damn time.
