6/6/19 - [VIDEO] Killing Complainer Culture
It’s a special opportunity to go back and speak to the organizations that raised you. Just recently I had the chance to do that at my high school, Saint Monica Catholic High School. Though the school is less than a handful of miles north of us on the same street at DEUCE Garage, I don’t spend much time with the school.
On this visit I gave a talk to the entire student body about a concept that is universally important. It was particularly important for my classmates and I who seemingly overcame the ubiquitous pitfalls of complainer culture. The result back in 2004 was a year of ownership, asymmetrical fun, and positive results in the classroom, on the field, and socially.
After all, when people get together in groups there’s a common diffusion of responsibility that can undermine the desired outcomes of everyone in the group. If you can relate or you’d like to hear the key to this dynamic, watch the talk now.
