We are a community. Sure, many of you mostly come to FFOTB to workout, but things get a bit deeper than that with us. Our fitness school strips away many of the mundane, confusing, and difficult aspects of training on your own. We are enrolling you into a comprehensive program. In this program, you’ll begin a journey from your respective starting point on a path to elite fitness. All you have to do is jump in!
That being said, like college, this program is much more than just going to class. Next Saturday, June 16th, we will host our first ever FFOTB Stand Up Paddle Day. Consider this FFOTB’s equivalent of a college football game or a sorority event.
Stand up paddle boarding happens to be quite a fitness related activity, or so I hear (I’ve never tried it), but this is more about getting to know your students outside of class. With relationships that run deeper than “Catch ya at the next workout!” we all benefit from each others successes, failures and the accountability we provide each other.
This event will be one to remember. Keep a lookout for other community events in the future, as well. Think about how little the college experience has to do with going to class and get involved.
All aboard!
