Have you ever just figured that chasing dreams were for crazy thrill seekers and that the safety of being “realistic” is an acceptable lifestyle choice? I think that if we look at what we are capable of when we chase our dreams when compared to our capacity when we are not that we can see this gap. We are better, more motivated workers with higher output when living our passion.
When can then view that it is a mathematical mistake, both for you and society, to opt out of chasing your dreams.
The trouble with this is, not only is this mistake detrimental to you and your potential, but it is detrimental to the world around you. Advances in music, technology, and medicine, for example, are not coming from people who hate their jobs. To think, then, that sacrificing your goals for comfort, job security, etc is a choice without consequences then, in my opinion, you’re wrong.
Do what’s best for you and what’s best for the world around you by chasing that thing that makes you tick. Do something crazy!
