[VIDEO] Taking the ‘Hard Way’

Brian “Tosh” Chontosh is one of the best men I know. It’s worth mentioning that I’d have written that sentence just like that without knowing any of his accolades, too. It’s no surprise that we’d been friends for nearly two years until I learned (from someone else, of course) that he is a legendary American warrior that everyone except he would call a hero. Of course, I didn’t hear other stories from him until much later, like the fact that he challenged his entire company to a boxing round (pictured) on a warship. All 164 company of his had to box him for a one minute round to earn their time off the ship in Thailand. This is Tosh being Tosh. 

His latest project in the video above for Rogue Fitness called ‘The Hard Way’ is a self-induced challenge to test his mettle and use a bout with difficulty to look inside himself. Can he learn a bit about life and himself by chopping down a tree with nothing but an ax in twenty-four hours?

There are incredible people doing incredible things everyday and you can be one yourself if you take the hard way a little more often than the alternative. What’s something you can do the hard way in 2020?
