Clarity through the Fog

What is your mission today? How does that fit into your mission for this week? For this month? For this year? I am not speaking about goals, I am speaking about purpose. Your purpose on this planet. Thinking broadly. Is there any clarity in these questions for you? Or, does this just make you want to pull the covers back over your head?

We all get up every morning and go about our day with a whole lotta gusto, or we just let the day determine how our day goes. I have definitely been on both sides of this. I read a question today that really made me feel behind the 8 Ball. Here it is.

“It is the end of your life and you are up on stage being presented with an award. What award is it, and what have you won it for? “

So, there is definitely an award, and it is being awarded to you. This means that you have been doing something for a long time, and have put in countless hours of dedication, probably to the tune of 10,000+.

What on earth could this be? Is this an award for being apathetic and indecisive? Is this an award for following the pack and having other peoples decisions shape your reality? Is this an award for avoiding the difficult things in your life? Is it an award for being selfish, and having zero gratitude? Is this an award for being lazy?
Your damn right, its not! It’s for Big Things! It’s for things that change people. It’s for things that make the world better. It is for conquering things within yourself, within your mind. It is about becoming something, and your amazing journey. Only you can receive this award, it is up to you which one you receive.

I hope this gave some clarity to where you are. I know it nudged me a bit.
