Ready, Set, Hesitate

I found an old photo yesterday around the house. In fact, I remember the awkward moment when my economics professor handed me the newspaper clipping more than ten years ago. It was a photo of me getting picked off of first base in a weekend series over the previous weekend.

If you want to know a great way to get picked off first base, you should hesitate. I don’t want to assume you’ll be playing baseball anytime soon, so I’ll remind you that it’s also a great way to miss a pass playing football. Not into sports? This is universal. Hesitation doesn’t pay anywhere. It doesn’t pay behind the wheel of your car, when making dinner plans, or in your career.

Be decisive. Sure, you can make errors in your decisions, but indecision is always an error. Choose and move with intention.
