Max Living

You came to this website to gather information about training. This post may not be what you’re looking for. I’d encourage you, however, to consider reading on. At the core of any fitness undertaking, there is, in my opinion, a blanket theme as to one’s motives. His/her purpose is to get better. Period.

Yo! Lifestyle, let's kick it up a notch!

Details like the how’s and the why’s may differ from person to person, but what we are all after is improvement. If you want to look good in a bikini; I dig it. Maybe your doctor said you’ve got to lose a few pounds or you’re training for a specific event like a marathon or a 10K. Time to get your sweat on.

My point is, however, what if you looked at other areas of your life the same way? What if you took on the same attitude to make you’re life better?

Heck, this fitness stuff is exciting. You work hard at something and you can see improvements and grow into things you couldn’t have imagined possible. It’s a challenge! But, it’s also just one small part of your life. Maybe your career needs some toning up. I bet your relationships would benefit from the type of dedication it takes to wake up at dawn to roll around in the mud with us.

If you’ve joined us at FFOTB, you’ve got something in you that wants more. and, that’s GREAT! My challenge to you is, are you maxing out your potential outside of the gym?

No, this is nothing to do with training, but use what you’re time here, however long or short, has taught you as the nudge you need to push the envelope in your career, your relationships, your hobbies. I applaud anyone who has the courage to walk up to a place like FFOTB and take it on. The folks that really get it, though, are those that are just as courageous and just as relentless in all facets of their life.

The key is not be make fitness an escape from a life counter to it’s principles. The key is to live those principles.
